Marketing Your Atlanta Bail Bonds Company September 5, 2015

The bail bonds industry is extremely competitive in Atlanta, Georgia. It seems like everyone and their brother can pay some educational and licensing fees to become a bondsman. Although it’s unlikely that a lot of people will actually do that, the fact remains that they could. There are over fifty different bonding agents throughout the city and all of them are competing for the same customers. With the increasing crime rate in the city, there’s plenty of business to go around. However, when people don’t have a bonding company on retainer, they don’t know who to call. So, they instead call whoever appears on the top of the search engines.

For instance, if you look at the search results for an Atlanta bail bondsman, you’ll find that there are actually hundreds of results. However, most of these results are all centered around fifty or so companies. If you want to be able to compete for this business, you are going to have to diversify your efforts and target different search terms. What I mean by that is go after different suburbs, cities, and neighborhoods.

For instance, there is little competition for bail bonds  in Clayton County, Georgia and you can very easily capitalize on that just like the linked bonding company has. In fact, you can go after other terms within Clayton County itself. What I’m saying here is to not only go after the biggest search terms that you think are going to yield the best results. If you hire someone to do the marketing for you and they don’t know what they are doing when it comes to organic search ranking, you could be in big trouble.

Offline Marketing Efforts for Bail Bondsman Companies

A common practice in the bail bonds industry is to develop relationships with other bondsman agencies just outside of your area. In other words, you refer business to them and they refer business to you. It makes a lot of sense if you are just a one man shop trying to do everything yourself. In Atlanta, all of the bonding agents already do this. So, no matter if you are in a county that is just outside of Atlanta or you are in the city itself, you can easily form a few great relationships with others and even offer some sort of a monetary incentive.

Another thing that you can do is think of where people who tend to get in trouble hang out. Find out where the areas with the highest crime rate are and purchase some advertising in that area specifically. Trust me. The costs won’t be that much because other advertisers don’t look at that sort of marketing real estate very valuable. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

I recently spoke with a bail bondsman in Atlanta from the company “Bail Bonding Now.” This is where I got some of these great marketing ideas. If you would like more information from them directly, I’ve included their contact information below.
